In the year 1997 of Tomyum Goong economic crisis, there were many changes in the business structure. Many companies returned their time slot terms to TV stations as they could not survive in such severe economic situation. DEX saw that the resulting of reduced time slot rate was an opportunity to expand our business in Character Merchandising. We thus gathered a team of experts in Japanese Animation and Live Action Hero to build up television business together with Premium Toy that utilized our port of Characters.
