POONPHOL GROUP has come a long way since its inception at Poon Phol Co., Ltd., which was founded by the Wanglee family in 1942. Being as a part of the country’s social and economic continuous development, the company started as an import and export business. Thereafter, the company extended its business to various lines, including warehouse service, construction and agricultural raw materials trade, by specialising in the manufacture of vermicelli, vegetable oil and modified tapioca starch for export and domestic sales. Following the great success in the agricultural business, the company took further steps into the service industry, including Office rental and shopping center management service.
