Job description
- Responsible for chartering activities of TIPCO group. Managing group's owned fleet vessels and other chartered vessels by communicating/ cooperating with both internal and external parties, eg, Charterers, Owners, Brokers, Agents, Traders, Supplier, Technical, Crew, Marine etc., planning, scheduling chartering vessels, negotiating for freight, laytime and demurrage, reviewing & confirming charterparty/terms or other contracts, and other matters relating to chartering vessels.
- Voyage estimation: Calculate and propose the appropriate freight and demurrage rates to the group's internal and external Charterers to achieve profit target.
- Responsible for vessel utilization, revenue monitoring, scheduling internal fleet program, maximizing voyage margin for internal fleet, and time-chartered vessels.
- Responsible for contract management, fixture notes, charter parties, Time charter parties, COA and all other contracts related to chartering activities.
- Market Analysis: study and analyzes shipping market
- Assist Chartering Manager with developing and implementing strategies to improve chartering activities and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Preferable Master's Degree with minimum 5-6 years of similar experiences
- Good knowledge and experience in Shipping and/or vessel's Chartering & Operations preferable
- Fluent in English communication including speaking, reading and writing.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Having good negotiation skills
- Having good problem-solving skills
- Able to prioritize workload and handle pressure from commercial and time-management matters.
- Able to use computers and office softwares

The Company, its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associated companies (“the Group”) are leading manufacturers and distributors of asphalt products for repairing, maintaining and constructing road pavements, highways and airport runways in Thailand and Asia-Pacific region.
