Job description
- Managing all aspects of CNC Machines and local staff.
- Handling management of the machining process, including machine setup and part of maintenance.
- Promoting quality improvement, utilization rate improvement, and cost reduction.
- Controlling of production line based on production plan.
- Making improvements to set up process, improve efficiency and output - reduce setup time, reduce setup scrap.
- Establishing CNC setup, qualification & troubleshooting procedures and train Operators and Contributing to training & development for CNC department personnel Technicians to be able to handle the process independently.
- Generating programs, tooling lists, cutting parameters, jigs & fixtures, running simulations and tests.
- Communicating with Leaders and machinists who will use the programs.
- Contributing to training & development for CNC department personnel.
- Making improvements to set up process, improve efficiency and output - reduce setup time, reduce setup scrap.
- Monitoring all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely complete the task.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Production, Mechanical)
- Over 4 years of working experience in CNC in aerospace or medical devices.
- Experience in using CNC as production.
- Advantage with basic experience with CADCAM software.
- Good computer skills (Mastercam, SolidWorks CAD/CAM, and MS Office).
- Leadership with problem-solving skills and good team player.
- Good command of English speaking, listening, and reading.
